2024 WEEK 3 HIGHLIGHTS

The first game today saw the Grunions victorious over the Kettle with a final score of 21-20. 2024 Week 2 Game Highlights

Starting the day off were the teams Kettle and Admiral Risty. The early innings were played in the dense beach fog that might of had to do with the Kettle being behind 10-6 after 3 innings of play. Early on the Risty made the defensive plays that kept the Kettle off the score board while tallying 15 runs by the end of the 5th inning. Risty then ended the last 3 innings with 6 more runs to win 21-10. Admiral Risty led by Tony Luca, Wayne Galer, Alan Kiser and Dave Taylor all with 4 hits with Kiser and Taylor and Mike Lorden each adding 4 rbi’s. Mike Lorden, Howard Miller and sub Ron Rotstein all had 3 hits for the Whaler’s cause ending with a .667 team batting average. The Kettlers put up a valiant effort with Jon Chapman batting 4 for 4 and Howard Thompson, Chuck Berez, Carlow Arias and Mike Abeles all with 3 hits for their team.

2023 Championship Game Highlights

The Thursday Sponsor League saw the Admiral Risty Whalers victorious over the 4th Place Jets to win the Thursday League, ending with a ending score of 17-6. The Risty Team ended with a 15-5-1 record for to 2023

The 2nd Round of Playoffs for MBSSA Thursday League saw 4th place regular season Jets, playing without many of their players, victorious over the 2nd place regular season BrokButcher team by score of 17-10.
