In the last regular season games, the 1st Place Team, the Admiral Risty Whalers met with the only team that has beaten them this current season BrokButcher Realty. Risty avenged that loss by a mercy rule win over the Butcher Boys with a score of 28-7. Risty amassed four 5 run innings and two 4 run innings in the 7 innings played. The Whalers were led by the 5 hits by Richard Ecker (2 rbi’s), the 4 hits each by Wayne Galer (2 dbls 3 rbi’s), Alan Kiser (Homerun 5 rbi’s), Rick Mansker (3 rbi’s), (Mike Costa (2 Homeruns 6 rbi’s), Adam Garcia (triple and Homerun 4 rbi’s) and super substitute Bryan White. In the 2nd game the contest between the 3rd Place Jets and 4th Place Kettle had the Kettle trailing most of the game. The Kettle mounted a comeback, but fell short, losing to the Jets by a score of 19-16. The Jets were led in hitting by Robert Hernandez 4 hits with Bryan White, Joe Owens (double), Ward Brown (2 doubles), Bob Julius (double), Dario Serna, Lincoln Chung and Dana Golle all with 3 hits in the game. Joe LaMay, Doug Bagley, Howard Rudich (double), Ken King and Karl Primm each had 2 hits. Kettle’s Mike Abeles and Ernie Rounsefel had 4 hits each. 3 hits each for Jon Chapman, Howard Thompson, Keith Crafton, Carlos Arias and Steve Kreindel.
