In the first game of the day, the 2nd Place BrokButcher Realty played the 3rd Place Jets in an exciting back and forth game that was finally won by the Jets 24-14. The Jets were leading 18-10 after 6 full innings of play and the Butchers could only amass 4 more runs to the end of the game. Led by Ward Brown (2 triples), Joe LaMay (double), Steve Kato and Doug Bagley (double) all with 4 hits, Dario Serna had 3 hits. Joe Owens, Mike Baker, Robert Hernandez, Andy Shelby, Karl Primm, Ken King and Howard Rudich (double) all had 2 hits for the Jets. No Report from BrokButcher Realty as yet.

The Admiral Risty Whalers met up with a hungry Shellback Tavern team that scored 11 runs in the 2nd game falling short with a final score of 20-11. Leading the Whalers Gary Bemis (double), Wayne Galer, Mike Costa (double and home run), Clay Collins (double) and sub Jon Chapman (double) all with 4 hits in the game. Tony Luca and Jim Stevens (triple) both with 3 hits for the Whalers cause. The Shellback Tavern team were led by Ron Rotstein, Hugh John McDonald, Jason Banner (double) and Joe Rasullo all with 3 hits each, Audie Freeman and David Inouye both had 2 hits each and Derek Loughran a double.
