(Green Team Manager) In the 2nd game the Green team avenged its 15-0 mercy loss against the Red team today by playing a defensive gem, combining Charlie Golden’s pitching with timely hitting for a 7-2 win. Paul Siegal led the offense going 3 for 3 with a triple and a home run, accounting for 5 RBIs. Ken Sackman (3B) and sub Joe Rassulo were also 3 for 3. Defensively, Ken Sackman ran down a center field gapper, relayed to David Inouye who made a perfect throw to Jim Berger at 3rd for the out. In the top of the 7th, Lincoln Chung, playing shortstop, ranged far to his right to snag a ground ball and made a good throw for a force out at 2nd.
