(White Manager) The 1st game today had lots of miscues by both teams ending in a tie after regulation 7 innings, 15-15. For the White Team, Ward Brown made several plays at rover, John Spielman made some nice catches at 2nd base and at rover. Robert Kurtz made two spectacular catches at RCF with one being the last out of the game, a fly ball by Ken Sackman, who had been crushing the ball all game. The hitting stars for White Team was Robert Kurtz who had two singles, a triple and a walk and Steve Kreindel who had two doubles and a triple. Ward Brown and Bill Louie had 3 singles. (Grey Manager) The 2nd game of the day ended with a 23-22 win for the Blue Team which had to come back in their bottom of the last inning with 10 runs for the win. An error and timely hitting from the Blue team cost the Greys a win. The Grey’s were led by Jon Chapman 4-4 (2HR, 6 RBI’s), Dave Taylor 3-4 (2B and 3B), Sam Barr 3-4 (HR) and Anne Kepple 3-4 (6 RBI’s). Doug Bagley all with (2B) each.
