(White Team Manager) The Blue team prevailed this morning in a tight game that was tied up until the 6th inning. The final score was 16-13. The White team hitting stars were Dennis Groat 4/4, Dan Sakoda 3/3, Joe Tannerbauer 3/3, Ward Brown 3/4 with a single, double and triple. Good fielding by the Blue team prevented two big innings in the 6th and 7th and bought them the win. Fielding by the White team was also pretty good, especially Ed Lambert at 3rd base and Steve Kreindel at short stop. Ward Brown snagged several very hard hit liners up the middle. Roger Davidheiser made a good stop of a hard grounder at first and threw a runner out at home. Our new team member, Eric Ishibashi made nice plays at second and in left field.
