(Grey Manager) The first game this morning was played against the Red vs Grey Teams which the Grey Team was victorious over the Red Team, Red Team 10 Grey Team 12.
In this game the Grey team had to take 2 outs because of a missing player. However, even with the missing players and a few errors along the way the Grey team managed a victory over the Red team. Reliever Glenn Honda’s pitching kept the Red teams hitters off balance. The win was from it’s defense and timely hitting. (Green Manager) In the 2nd game today, Green beat Blue 10-6. Green scored 5 in the first inning, 5 total in the next two innings and was shut out for the rest of the game. Fortunately for Green, the defense played all 7 innings. Sub George Wolfe made a diving catch in the outfield. Jim Morrison made a couple of plays as catcher, including grabbing a bounce off a short popup to keep the ball fair and threw the runner out at first for the last out of the game. David Inouye and Jim Morrison went 3 for 3 to lead the offense. Lincoln Chung, Hugo Furth, Sub Ed Lambert, Ken Widelitz, Ken King and George Turner were all 2 for 3. No Report from the Blue Team.
