(Grey Team Manager) In what looked like an insignificant game, the top-ranked Red Team secured a hard-fought 11-9 victory over the tenacious 5th-place Gray Team. The game ignited early, with both sides trading four runs in a high-scoring first inning. The Red Team built a lead with three runs in the second, but the Gray Team responded with impressive pitching and defensive plays, including multiple double plays, to halt the Red Team’s powerful offense for several innings. Despite their defensive efforts, the Red Team managed to break through in the fifth, expanding their advantage to 10-8 before ultimately closing out the game. The Gray Team demonstrated admirable resilience and exceptional individual performances. Standout players for the Gray Team included: Alan Sperling, Perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, smashing a home run and driving in 2 runs. Jon Chapman, contributed significantly with a 2-for-3 performance, including a triple and 3 RBIs. Sam Barr, delivered a key double and an RBI. (Green Team Manager) The 1st game between the Green Team and the Blue Team saw the Green Team winning 11-9. The Green held on to win a close game with Blue. Paul Siegal (3 RBI 2B,) Sub George Wolff (2B,) Jim Berger and Charlie Golden all went (3-3). Lincoln Chung, Jim Morrison and David Inouye were all (2-3). Lincoln Chung made a series of catches on low line drives. Pitchers Charlie Golden and John Zimmerman gave up no walks. No Report from the Blue Team.
