The 1st game between Butcher Construction and the Kettle had Butcher with the win 23-14. The Kettle battled but couldn’t close it out. Butcher held a slim 2‑run lead after six, then shut things down late to take the game. Mike Abeles stayed perfect at the plate (3–3), while Jon Chapman, Chuck Berez, and Steve Kreindel each added 3-4 game. The 2nd game today saw the Jets win over Hangar Inn by the score of 22-7. The Jets 11 players all had at least 2 hits led by Dario Serna, Joe LaMay, Bob Julius and Andy Shelby all with 4 hits each, Paul Siegel (3b), Howard Rudich, Doug Freeman, Karl Primm (3b) and Sub Wayne Galer all had 3 hits.
