2026 WEEK 12 TUESDAY PARITY LEAGUE HIGHLIGHTS

(White Manager) In the first game of today on Tuesday, June 16, started out with Blue getting 5 runs in the first inning and then scoring 3 in the second inning with White managing just one run in the first but then narrowed the score to 8-6 scoring 5 runs in the bottom of the second. Both teams went scoreless during the 3rd and 4th but then in the fifth, White scored 2 runs to tie the score at 8-8. Blue countered with 3 in the top of the 6th mostly on a triple by Karl Primm with two on and no outs, he scored soon after. White countered with 4 in the last of the 7th scoring 3 runs with two outs. Eric Ishibashi made several nice plays for outs at third base and the outfield was nearly perfect, catching several fly balls. Bart Mills pitched well limiting the Blue team’s many good hitters to only 11 runs. Steve Kreindel, Jon Chapman and Joe Tannerbauer executed a perfect 5-11-3 double play. Steve Kreindel was 4/4 with a double and scored 3 runs, Jon Chapman was 4/4 and scored 2 runs, Dennis Groat was 4/4 and scored a run, John Spielman was 3/4 and scored 1 run, Dan Sakoda was 2/3 and scored a run, Robert Kurz, Bart Mills, Ed Lambert, Eric Ishibashi were all 2/4 and each scoring a run. Bart Mills came up in the last of the 7th with the bases loaded, two out and behind by 3 runs. He hit a single scoring one. Lester Ostroy then came up with the bases loaded and two out and behind 2 runs and hit a bloop single into right-center scoring 2 and tying the score. Eric Ishibashi then came up and knocked in the winning run with a hard grounder up the middle. No Report from the Blue Team.

(Green Manager) The 2nd Game saw the Green Team win over the Red Team 14-11. The first six batters reached base for Green in the 1st inning. Paul Siegal’s home run scored 3 and Green ended up with 5 runs. The 5 run 1st inning curse set in and the teams were tied at 7 going into the 7th inning as Green’s defense faltered. Green broke the curse in the 7th. The first nine batters reached base. Lincoln Chung hit a grand slam and Green ended up with 7 runs. Green needed those runs as Red came close in the bottom of the 7th as Green’s defense faltered again. Ken Sackman was 4 for 4. Charlie Golden was 3 for 3. David Inouye, Lincoln Chung, Paul Siegal, Hugo Furth and Jim Berger all went 3 for 4. No Report from the Red Team.
