The 1st game today was between the Jets and Butcher Construction.   The contest was won by Butcher Construction by the score 13-4.    This game was closer than the final score as the Construction boys only led 7-5 after 6 innings when they proceeded to add 5 more runs in their 7th inning plus 1 in the 8th inning.  The Jets George Wolfe had 3 hits,   Dario Serna, Bob Julius, Doug Bagley and Mike Barnett all added 2 hits.  Steve Kato, Andy Shelby, Paul Siegal, Howard Rudich and Karl Primm,  all added a hit for the Jets.  No Report from Bucther Construction.

In the 2nd game of the day, the Admiral Risty Whalers were victorious over the Kettle 24-9.  Leading the Whalers was Alan Kiser and Michael Costa (dbl 3 rbi’s) both with 4 hits on the day.  Rick Mansker ( 4 rbi’s), Clay Collins (dbl 2 rbi’s), Jim Stevens (rbi) and Wayne Judah (2 rbi’s) all added 3 hits.  Tony Luca, Wayne Galer (3 rbi’s), Mike Lorden, Adam Garcia (2 rbi’s), Richard Ecker and Sam Barr (3 rbi’s) all with 2 hits for the Whalers.  Risty pounded out 32 hits in the contest their team average .842.  Leading the Kettle was Chck Berez 4 hits, Keith Crafton and Carlos Arias 3 hits each, Howard Thompson, Steve Kreindel and Ernie Rounsefell all with 2 hits.
