(Green Manager) The 1st Game of the 2026 Season had the Green Team vs. the Grey Team. The Green scored 5 runs in the first inning and then avoided the 5 run 1st inning curse, leading the game the entire way. David Inouye and Paul Siegal (two 2B) led Green with 3 hits each. Lincoln Chung (2B), Hugo Furth, Jim Berger, Ken Sackman (all 2B), and George Turner each racked up 2 hits. Pitchers Charlie Golden and John Zimmerman issued no walks the entire game. Playing first base, Jim Morrison made a nice pickup on a bounced throw in the seventh inning, which was Green’s defensive play of the game. (Grey Manager) The Green team scored 5 runs in the 1st inning and never looked back. The Grey team tried in the bottom half of the 4th with 5 runs but could only score but one more run. Final Green team 11, Gray team 7.
Hitting for the Grey Team were Jon Chapman 2-3, 2HR, and 5rbi’s, Dan Sakoda 2-3, 1 rbi, Tom Nyman 2-2, 2rbi’s and Joe Rassulo 2-3.

(White Team Manager) The 2nd game today was between the White Team and Red Team. Both teams were hitting the ball so well, they scored a total of 52 runs. Final score 28-24, Red Team on top. The White Team hit 2 home runs, one by Ward Brown and one by Glenn Honda. 6 White Team batters had a perfect day going 5 for 5 or 4 for 4. Ward Brown, Steve Kreindel, Robert Kurtz, Dave Taylor, Ed Lambert, and Bart Mill. Ward Brown also hit a triple and Robert Kurz, in addition to going 5 for 5 hit two doubles. Dennis Groat and Joe Tannerbauer each also had a double. Bart Mills pitched extremely well and also went 4 for 4 getting two singles and two walks. No Report from the Red Team.
