The Thursday League 2025 Championship Game was played today with Admiral Risty Team with a 19-11 win over the Kettle Team. The Kettle held a 10-8 lead after 5 full innings but plated only 1 more run in the last 4 innings while the Whalers posted 11 runs more in their last 3 innings of play. In the last game of the 2025 season the Whalers were led by the 5 hits day of Tony Luca and Rick Mansker. Mansker who had a double and triple with 5 rbi’s today and playing as a 75 year old made his senior bat glow. Adam Garcia (double and triple plus 3 rbi’s) and Rob Staal (homerun plus 2 rbi’s) both with 4 hits, Pitcher Wayne Galer, Mike Lorden (2 rbi’s plus SF) and Sam Barr (2 rbi’s) all added 3 hits, Richard Ecker, Clay Collins and Jim Stevens (homerun) all added 2 hits each.
