The Jets, in their first game of the new 2025 season fought hard into the 9th inning ,  despite scoring 4 runs and then with the  bases loaded,   came up short making the final 2 outs to end the game 10-14 to the Kettle.    The Jets led by Dana Goller, Bryan White, Mike Baker, Doug Bagley and Howard Rudich all with 3 hits, while Dario Sernas, Joe LaMay and Andy Shelby all added 2 hits for the game.   The Kettle defeated a formidable team today with Keith Crafton leading the way by hitting 4/4 and Steve Kriendel with a 3/3 day with the bat.  Jason Banner, Chuck Berez, Carlos Andes and Doug Westhoff (home run) all had 3 hits today.   Third baseman Berez was outstanding today at 3rd base.

 

Admiral Risty with their 2nd win of the season with a 29 hit attack against BrokButcher Realty won by the score of 23-8.  The Risty led by the 4 hits each by Mike Lorden and Mike Costa both with 3 rbi’s.  Wayne Galer, David Taylor, Rich Ecker and Howard Miller added 3 hits each.  Taylor had 4 rbi’s while Lorden, Costa and Adam Garcia all added 3 ribi’s for their team.   Rich Ecker, Rob Staal, Howard Miller and Sam Barr all contributed 2 rbi’s.   The Risty defense kept the Butchers Boy’s offense in hand especially with nifty fielding by Tony Luca filling in at 2nd base and newest member, Rob Staal who anchored 3rd base today.   No Report from BrokButcher Realty.
