(Green Manager) Green’s offense has continued putting up hits. Unfortunately, Green wasn’t as good on the bases as getting on the bases with base running gaffes costing at least two runs, the final difference in the game. Alan Sperling’s grand slam in the bottom of the 5th gave Green a look at the game, cutting Red’s 9 run lead to 4. Green put up a 5 spot in the bottom of the 6th with Joe Tannerbauer drawing a bases loaded walk in between 7 singles to get within a run, but went down 3 straight in the bottom of the 7th. Sub David Inouye went 4 for 4. Doug Westhoff hit 3 for 4 with a double. Ken Widelitz was 2 or 2 with a double and a walk. No Report from Red Team as yet.
