Today in the 1st game the Jets were winners over the Shellback Tavern by the score 17-10. The Jets with 28 hits led by Joe LaMay (double, Ward Brown (2 doubles)and Bryan White (double) all with 4 hits each. Steve Kato and Karl Primm both with 3 hits while Mike Baker, Doug Bagley and Andy Shelby all added 2 hits each. The Shellback Tavern boys had a 25 hit game but were short on putting over runs. Jeff Walsh and Harold Kinglsy (double) had 4 hits, Heffernan 3 hits and Hugh John McDonald, Ron Rotstein, Ken Sackman, David Inouye and Jon Chaykowski all added 2 hits for their team.

The Admiral Risty Whalers and the BrokButcher Realty teams played to a 9-9 Tie in the final game of the day. Contrary to last weeks 33 hit game the Whalers today only were able to produce 22 hits resulting in their single digit score today. Risty hitters led by Gary Bemis’ 4 hits Wayne Galer’s and Rick Mansker’s 3 hits each, while Alan Kiser, Adam Garcia and Ken Ecker’s added 2 hits. No Report from BrokButcher as yet.
