2025 WEEK 16 TUESDAY PARITY LEAGUE HIGHLIGHTS

(Red Manager) In the opening game today we saw the Grey and the Red teams play to a 7)-7 tie! The Red team did have 3 batters Ron Rotstein, Dave Johnson and Jim Morrison all contributing 3 hits each today. (Grey Manager) In the top of the first inning, Grey struck first with 4 hits in a row but could only score 2 runs. In the bottom half Red scored 5 runs. The score was 2-5 Red. During the game the Grey team played excellent defense, creating 4 double plays and key catches in the outfield kept the score close. The Grey Team was led by Jon Chapman (double) and sub Glenn Honda both with 3 hits each. Alan Sperling, Jim Berger, Mike Jenkins, sub Pam Cedrone all added 2 hits each.

(Green Manager) Green’s bats broke their month long Vow of Silence with a roar. Green walked off with 5 runs in the first, 4 in the 2nd and 3rd, and 3 in the fourth, building an insurmountable early lead. Green was led by Sub David Inoye, 4-4 with 2 doubles and Doug Westhoff, 4-4 with a double. Ed Lambert was 3-3 with a sac fly. Greer Wesson, Bob Perkins and Paul Tiele were 3-4. Ken Widelitz was 3-3 with a double. The defense was solid turning 2 double plays. Pitcher Charlie Golden was golden as usual, giving up only 1 walk and making a couple of helpful defensive plays.
