In today’s 1st game the Admiral Risty Whalers won by the score of 7-17 over the Shellback Tavern. Shellback led going into the 7th innings but the Whalers posted 4 runs to take the lead and added 5 more runs in the bottom of the 8th holding Shellback to no runs for the last 4 innings of play. Risty led by the 4 hits each from Mike Lorden (double + 2 rbi’s) and Adam Garcia (2 doubles + 3 rbi’s). Wayne Galer, Rick Mansker (double + 3 rbi’s), Mike Costa (double, homerun + 3 rbi’s), Rob Staal (homerun + 2 rbi’s) and Sam Barr (2 rbi’s) as all added 3 hits each.
