In the midst of the last 4 weeks of regular season play, the Admiral Risty Whalers were chasing the Kettle after 5 full innings 15-12. However, in the last 3 innings Risty scored 5 runs each inning to win and end the game 27-16. The Whalers were led by Tony luca 5 hits w/5 rbi’s, Wayne Galer and Howard Miller each 4 hits, Mike Lorden 3 hits w/4 rbi’s, Mike Costa 3 hits a homerun and 6 rbi’s with Jim Stevens and Sam Barr also providing 3 hits in the game.
