In an exciting back and forth contest the BrokButcher Realty team were victorious over the Jets with the winning score 19-18. The Jets were led by Steve Kato with a 5 for 5 day and Doub Bagley, Bryan White and Karl Primm all had 4 hits each. Ward Brown had 3 hits and Joe LaMay, Mike Baker, Mike Barnett and Howard Rudich all had 2 hits in the game. Joe LaMay, Dario Sernas and Bryan White all had triples. The Jets trailing in the bottom of the 9th inning 15-19 came up 1 run short of tying in the bottom of the 9th innings. No report from BrokButcher.

The 2nd game saw Admiral Risty Whalers pound out 30 hits in their 6 innings of batting to a win over Grunions 21-3. Pitcher Wayne Galer and 3B Rick Mansker both had a 4 for 4 day hitting, Mansker along with Mike Lorden both had 5 rbi’s each. Lorden along with Gary Bemis, Tony Luca, Dave Taylor, Clay Collins and sub Ward Brown all added 3 hits each to the stats. Rich Ecker and Sam Barr both added 2 hits in the game. The Grunions hitters were Jason Banner, Joe Rasullo, Audie Freeman and Bart Mills all with 2 hits. Audie and Ken Ahlmeyer added a triple and Rasullo 2 doubles.
